BRAD LLOYD
DIRECTOR, APOGEE SPORTSBrad Lloyd has established a strong career in AFL football operations and list management, most notably through his tenures at both the Fremantle Dockers and Carlton Football Club, where he served as General Manager of Football. Brad began his journey as a player manager and has progressed throughout his career into senior leadership roles, overseeing key areas including football strategy, list management, high performance and club operations. Throughout his time in the AFL industry, he has developed a well-rounded understanding of how successful football departments are built and sustained, navigating the complexities of player movement, staff alignment, and on-field performance. Known for his practical, people-first approach and ability to lead through periods of change, Lloyd now shares his experience to support and mentor those looking to build careers in football operations and club management.
KINNEAR BEATSON
AFL RECRUITING EXPERTKinnear Beatson has built a highly respected 35+ year career in AFL recruitment, list strategy, and talent identification, beginning with coaching the undefeated Victorian U15 Schoolboys in 1988. His journey has included key roles with Carlton, the Western Jets, Brisbane Bears/Lions—where he helped recruit the 2001–2003 premiership teams—Adelaide, and most notably the Sydney Swans, where he served as Head of Recruiting & List Strategy and National Recruiting Manager. At the Swans, he played a central role in building the 2012 premiership side and multiple grand final teams. With deep expertise across recruiting, trading, and free agency, and firsthand experience of the AFL industry’s evolution, Beatson now works with the QBE Swans Academy and is committed to sharing his insights to mentor the next generation of recruiting and list management professionals.
